About Me:
Corey Engstrom
I have an incredible passion for seeing students learn and grow in a positive atmosphere. I currently work as a 5th grade teacher at Ronald Reagan Elementary School in Kingsburg, California and active founder of E&e Performing Arts center, a community theater in Kingsburg. I live in my community with my wife and two children.
In 2005 I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. Since then, I continued my education obtaining my Master's degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University in 2012. After teaching as a communication instructor for two years at Fresno City College I decided to return to school to obtain my elementary teaching credential. In 2014 I obtained my teaching credential and began working as a 5th grade teacher at Ronald Reagan Elementary School in Kingsburg. During that first year of teaching I also completed my second Master's degree in Educational Technology.
This website represents my ongoing Professional Development Quest Portfolio. It encompasses my past, current and future endeavors as a developing educator. Each Teacher Performance Expectation (TPE) domain represents a different facet of my journey as an educator. I can be reached at: [email protected] for any questions or clarification.
